Our dojo (school) is a thriving Karate school in Hillsboro, Oregon, but also serves as the Headquarters for our organization – Japan Karate Federation NW. We offer high quality, professional instruction for children and adults.

In addition to improving physical health and providing a good physical workout for our students, our focus is also on personal development – confidence, fitness, self defense and camaraderie. The discipline we teach has led people to improve grades in school, promotions in their work, and achieve an overall healthy lifestyle. We are very proud of our affiliation with USA Karate and the athletes we have assisted to compete at multiple levels and the top level referees we have produced from our school. This is a place where leaders are born!

Many people come to Karate for self defense, but they stay because of the bond formed with fellow students working toward karate mastery.

We teach a very traditional style of Japanese Karate – Shindo-Jinen Ryu. This style was founded in Japan over 100 years ago and we continue a close connection with our sister schools in Japan and around the world.

Please contact us today to learn more about our program.
