Saito Karate-do Classic
JKFNW Attended the Saito Karate-Do Classic Tournament in McMinville Oregon. This tournament takes place at the Evergreen Space Museum directly underneath airplanes and jets. It's a great venue and a great tournament! Congratulations to all those who competed and brought home experience to futher your karate practice and and to those who brought home medals!
Osouji – End of Year Dojo Clean Up
The focus of o-souji is "susuharai" or "dust cleaning", i.e. getting rid of the old dust and dirt for a clean new year. We had a great workout led by Hombu Dojo Instructors, a group cleaning, mandarin oranges and sparking cider that we used to toast to the new year to come. Thank you to everyone for joining us, even the parents chipped in!

Montana Tournament 2022
Some of us joined our Montana contingent for their annual tournament in Billings Montana! Beautiful Big Sky country!Dojos from all over the area joined in!We are so proud of everyone who competed!
Camp Yoshida 2022 (Gasshuku)
In July 2022 JKFNW members and guests gathered together for a family adventure at Camp Yoshida in Troutdale for camping, training, games and bonding.
USA NATIONALS 2022 – Spokane
USA Karate Nationals 2022 in Spokane WA10 Ahtletes, 2 Coaches, 5 Referees made the long drive through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge (and lots of farm land)....to BEAUTIFUL SPOKANE!
