Gene Tibon Sensei holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in Goju/Founder USA Grass RootsRyu Uchiage and 6th Degree Black Belt with the USA National Karate-Do Federation (USANKF). He is the owner and Chief Instructor of Tibon’s Goju-Ryu Fighting Arts Karate Dojo located in Stockton, California along with four additional satellite schools in Stockton, Modesto, Lodi, and Durango, Colorado with active enrollment of 800-1000 students. Tibon Sensei was inducted into the International Martial Arts Competitors Hall of Fame in 1989, the A.A. Stagg High Academic Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995, the 1999 Martial Arts World Hall of Fame, the 1999 Pioneer & Martial Arts Legends Hall of Fame, and the 2001 USANKF Lifetime Achievement Hall of Fame.
